A personalizable video is to be created for the MINI Countryman, presenting the car’s freedom-loving character.
On behalf of Impossible Software and MINI’s lead-agency, Avantgarde Munich, DDD personalizes a video showing a "pencil pusher" who is constantly confronted with his adventure-thirsty alter ego in his work place. Following the claim "Wanderlust" he is shown all the great things he’s missing at the moment. Before the video starts the user has the possibility to integrate him- or herself and several friends into the spot optionally using Facebook. An own text to be included may also be entered. The result is a personalizable video, that stays online until the end of 2011 while communicating: The MINI Countryman is the perfect car to escape everyday life.
An interface to the Flash-application, enabling picture upload and text transfer, optionally using Facebook Connect to retrieve images from the user’s account in contrast to selecting and uploading the images manually.
The user's image and name are integrated into the video using Flash-based corner-pin-mapping. The video may be shared using Facebook or by sending the video link by mail.
