Task
Creation of a customizable video for an app to accompany the introduction of the new Boxter.
Implementation/Solution
"Declaration of Independence" is the claim under which DDD produces the individual video for the new Porsche Boxter in cooperation with lead agency Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler. This special test drive lets the user choose between three metropolises to visit. To individualize the video, the user has to enter a name and upload an image, after which he or she can decide to test drive the Boxter in Los Angeles, Madrid or Tokyo, accompanied by one of three Soundtracks to choose from. The app is still available at the Apple Appstore.
Technology
The name and image are directly integrated into the video, which is delivered to the user after a minimal loading time directly inside the app. The user may save up to three different videos to view again and share freely.
DDD is responsible the video individualization and for the hosting and operation of the rendering system during the campaign’s duration. The app is online since 2012.
